Our Suppliers & Menu Items

Our smoked salmon is the best we’ve ever tried. It’s smoked over oak and secret ingredients and comes from Terry Butterly.

Our dry-aged beef has been hung for 6 weeks and comes from Co. Antrim.

Our organic potatoes come from Gold River Farm in Co. Wicklow. Despite mixed customer views on our chips, we are going to try and keep using organic spuds.

Our chicken is certified free range and comes from Crossgar Poultry.

Our gravy is made with beef stock, herbs, shallots, red wine and butter.

Our sausages come from Hicks.

Our lentil and vegetable soup is vegan, low-fat, and gluten free.

Our gourmet soup is also gluten free and made with vegetable stock. We use the organic and gluten free Marigold stock in all our soups.

Our tart of the day is baked in the morning and served throughout lunch. It’s neither hot nor cold and we do not recommend blasting it in the oven or it’ll lose its soft texture.

We intend to have plenty of gorgeous salads on in the spring and summer. But right now, we are sticking to heartier winter fare.

Our mixed leaves come from france.

All of our desserts (except for our ice cream) are home-made.

All food prices include 13.5% VAT. All drink prices include 21%VAT.

In a hurry? No problem. Most dishes are available to take-home in a “doggy bag”.

All tips go to the staff (not the owners!) If you have enjoyed your lunch, please tell others. If not, please tell US! We welcome all suggestions, comments and feedback.

Kids: we love kids as you can see (posh Louis XV repro chairs, colouring books, baby changing units, indestructible banquette seating…) and we don’t want to patronise the little darlings by offering them a “kiddies menu”. Instead, we hope that they will find something they like on this menu. If not, just ask your waiter. If your child just wants a little pasta with butter and chopped up chicken or ham, we will always try and oblige without screaming tantrums from either our chefs or your kids.

We are here to serve and feed you as best we can. If we aren’t doing that, then make us aware. A restaurant is only as good as its last meal.
